Analysis,Charting & Reports - disseminate your data in rich, visual reports direct from your web site

In todays technology driven world nearly everyone is collecting data from web site statistics to customer databases to government statistics. Data in its raw format does not present as a particularly captivating read and needs to be processed to provide statistics in a more readily consumable format. Staring at a database of 2000+ transactions won't easily tell you how many unique customers you have or the total value of those transactions!

This is where a data reporting system has enormous potential. In our example the total number of unique customers and the total value of transactions are very simple for a computer system to determine. Going a little further you can find out the average price spent, the number of transactions per customer and who your biggest client is to date. If your raw data supports it, alomst anything is possible.

In this example you may be running an eCommerce application and on a daily basis more transactions will be collected by your website. You need a web based report which answers your questions at the touch of a button rather than you having to comb through an ever increasing array of data to answer key business questions.

Reports are produced as web pages and can use tables to summarise a larger dataset and include charts to visually present change over time and relative values. The chart above is based on a randdom set of numbers determined when the page is loaded. If you refresh the page, the chart will change and it is this type of dynamic charting that adds impact and ease of understanding.

In some applications you may wish to make an offline copy of a report and we can provide a downloadable version of a report in PDF format. An alternate type of download that is also possible is to allow end users to access data directly and save a copy locally on their own computer. This is useful for power users who may wish to do more indepth analysis.

We would be happy to discuss your requirements further should you choose to get in touch.
