Just like you must pay an Internet Service Provider to connect you to the Internet you must also arrange for a permanent full time connection to the internet for your web site.

This is usually achieved by placing your web site on a web server which is part of a server farm. A server farm is a large IT facility with hundreds of tightly packed computers. Each of these computers can hold hundreds of web sites and although hosting can be found quite cheaply it is very much a case of getting what you pay for. Where many web sites share one computer and that computer shares its internet connection with many others then your share of the total can be a very small slice and which will result in a poorly performing web site.

We balance the number of sites on any one server to maintain first class performance. We can therefore offer a very high quality of service at an affordable price.
